Announcement — bold
A loud, confident notice: a huge headline on a strong colour, a short paragraph, a footer line and an optional QR code for the details. For closures, deadlines and anything people must not miss.
Ready-made screens you fill in rather than build: menu boards, meeting room signs, KPI tiles, leaderboards, Wi-Fi QR codes, world clocks and more. Connect one to a Google Sheet, an API, an RSS feed or a calendar and it keeps itself up to date.
New templates are published to the signed catalog all the time, and every ScreenTinker server picks them up on its own, with no upgrade needed. This page shows the catalog as it is today.

Any table as a clean, readable board: a league table, savings rates with their small print, stock levels, a timetable. Connect a Google Sheet, CSV, REST list or Manual table (or type the rows in), pick the columns, colour cells with simple rules like "On hand < 5 red", and long tables page themselves.
A safety streak board for a factory floor, warehouse or site: a huge count of days (or hours) since the last incident, the best-ever record, a green/amber/red target gauge, required-PPE signs and rotating safety messages. On the day of an incident it turns red and says so. A supervisor can reset it from a Google Sheet.

Celebrates with confetti when the goal is reached. Type the total in, or connect a Google Sheet, form responses or REST API so it updates itself.
Your guest network name and password, large and legible, next to a QR code that joins the network in one scan — with the special characters in names and passwords escaped correctly, so the code actually connects. Made for hotels, cafés, clinics and offices; works as a full screen, a portrait poster or a thin strip. Nothing is fetched: the code is drawn on the screen.
A playful Halloween screen: a jack-o’-lantern and full moon drawn from simple shapes over purple hills, with a headline, a message for your costume parade or opening hours, and a date line.

Headlines as a rotating feature plus a smooth scrolling ticker. Type them in, or connect an RSS feed, Google Sheet, CSV or table. Full screen it shows both; in a thin strip it becomes a ticker bar, and in a tall zone a vertical side ticker. Nothing is fetched by the screen, so it works offline.
A magazine-style news wall for any RSS or Atom feed: a large featured story that rotates every few seconds, the next four stories as cards, the feed's title and relative dates. Typographic by design (no remote images), so it works offline. Or type your own headlines.
A staff room, school or shop-floor notice board: announcement cards with colour-coded categories (Urgent, Safety, Event, HR, Info), pinned notices held at the top, and start and end dates so notices appear and expire on their own. A featured notice with the rest beside it, or one notice at a time. Type notices in, or run it from a Google Sheet or Manual table.

An original first-person arcade shooter about the worst on-call shift of the year 3036: every server is down and the datacenter is crawling with bugs. Nobody playing? It plays itself in autopilot demo mode. Click or press a key to take over; walk away and the demo takes back over.

Staff update a Google Sheet or a Manual table from a phone, or type the list in.
A full-screen animated weather scene: the sky, rain, snow or sun follow the current conditions, with a five-day forecast and temperature ranges. Reads one of your Weather data sources; your server fetches the weather, so this template needs no network access at all.
Current conditions and a five-day forecast from one of your Weather data sources. Your server fetches the weather itself; the template only lays it out.

A "What's on" board for hotels, conference venues, campuses and community centres: the next events grouped by day, today (or tonight) large and later days smaller, with times, rooms, speakers and direction arrows. The session in progress is highlighted, finished ones drop off by themselves, and long programmes page. Type the programme in, or connect a calendar (iCal), Google Sheet or Manual table.

Two to eight live clocks for the cities you work with — analog, digital or both, with the date, a day/night cue and the hour difference from this screen. Lays itself out as a grid, a portrait list or a thin strip. Nothing is fetched: the times come from the screen's own clock.
Every template comes with a form: a headline, a logo, colours, the cities for a world clock, the network name and password for a Wi-Fi sign. Slide templates are layouts with no code in them. Code templates are small web apps (animated weather, a leaderboard with moving bars, an arcade game). Both go into playlists, layouts and schedules like any other content.
Templates read from ScreenTinker's built-in data sources: Google Sheets, CSV files, REST/JSON APIs, RSS and Atom feeds, iCal calendars (Google, Outlook/Exchange or any .ics link), weather, or a table you type in. Your server fetches each source on a schedule and fills the values into the template, so the screen never calls the API itself. API keys stay on the server and never reach a screen. A Google Sheet needs no Google account or API key: share it as "anyone with the link", or publish it to the web.
A template's code, fonts and images are packed into the page itself, and players cache what they play. If the network drops, the screen keeps showing the last data it had until the connection comes back.
The official catalog is signed, and your server checks every package against that signature before installing it. A code template runs in a sandbox: it can't see your dashboard or your account, and it can reach only the internet hosts it declared, which for most templates is none. If we ever withdraw a version, every server that checks the catalog withdraws it too.
The library is included with self-hosted ScreenTinker. It is switched off until a platform admin turns it on, and air-gapped sites can import the catalog as a signed offline bundle instead. You can also import your own templates, or contribute one to the catalog.
No. Templates and data sources are on every plan, including the free plan, and in self-hosted deployments. Plans differ by screen count and storage.
Each template has the fields its author exposed. For a custom layout, start from a blank slide with live data tags, or write your own code template and import it.
Pick a template, fill in the form, and pair any screen you have. Free plan, no credit card required.
Start FreeA live render of the template with its sample content, running in your browser exactly as it runs on a screen. Weather uses demo values.
